Get in touch
Call 13185435139 to get a job on the schedule. We're based at 1253 Shreveport Barksdale Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71105, which puts us close to Mooretown, Country Club Hills, and Lakeshore Shopping, all within about a mile of the shop. If you're further out - Lakeview, Sunset Acres, Caddo Heights, South Highlands, Cedar Grove, Lynbrook, Broadmoor, Anderson Island, Shreve Isle, Western Hills, Yarborough, Jenkins, Pinecroft, Springlake, University Terrace, the Airport and Pines Road area, the MLK Dr. corridor, Hyde Park, Brookwood, Southern Hills, Freestate, North Highlands, or Ellerbe Woods - we still run calls out to you, same as the neighborhoods closer in. The address above is where the trucks start the day, not a showroom you need to visit.
Quick answers
We work on garage doors. Springs, openers, tracks, cables, rollers, panels, and the occasional door that just won't do what it used to.
Most of the houses we get called to in this part of Shreveport went up somewhere between 1981 and 1996, and that stretch of construction shows up in the hardware we find - a lot of original torsion setups and openers that are older than the owner realizes.
We don't sell you on anything you don't need. If a spring adjustment fixes it, we don't talk you into a new door.
Our team
This is a garage door outfit working the Shreveport side of the area, not a call center dispatching to whoever's closest. The neighborhoods we're in and out of most - Lakeview, Greenwood, Blanchard, Red Chute, Stonewall, Eastwood, Benton, Haughton, and the closer-in areas like Mooretown, Sunset Acres, Caddo Heights, and South Highlands - cover a wide spread of house ages, but the core of it is that 1980s-to-90s stock across roughly eight named pockets of the service area. That's the housing we know best: what the original builder-grade openers looked like, where the torsion springs tend to wear out first, what track spacing shows up in a two-car attached garage from that era. We're not going to claim decades in business or a wall of certifications, because that's not what this page is for. What we can tell you is what we see on the trucks every week and what it takes to fix it.
Common jobs
Broken torsion springs on doors installed when the house was built, openers from the 1990s that finally quit sending signal to the wall button, tracks knocked out of alignment, and cables that fray after years of the same routine.
With roughly 6,827 owner-occupied houses in a service area of about 10,769 households, and a median income of $60,142, most of the work we do is straightforward repair rather than full replacement - people fixing what they have, not swapping it out.
Heat here runs moderate rather than extreme, so we don't see the seal and insulation failures that a harsher climate would cause; what we see instead is hardware fatigue from age.
One honest limit: if a door is original to a house built in the early 1980s and the frame itself has shifted, sometimes replacement is the cheaper call over the long run, and we'll tell you that instead of patching it twice.
Questions
Yes. We run calls out to Lakeview, Greenwood, Blanchard, Red Chute, Stonewall, Eastwood, Benton, and Haughton, along with the closer-in Shreveport neighborhoods. Distance from the shop on Barksdale Hwy ranges from about a mile to seventeen miles depending on where you are, and that's factored into scheduling, not a reason to turn a job down.
Not by itself, but a lot of the houses we work on were built between 1981 and 1996, so a lot of those openers are original too. At that age, failure isn't a matter of if. If yours is still running fine, we'll tell you that rather than push a swap.
We do repair work first when it makes sense - springs, cables, tracks, rollers, opener boards. Full replacement comes up when the door or frame itself has failed, which happens more with the older stock in this area than with newer construction.
